The Corona Party - Project By Nienke Markus

In times of COVID-19 a lot has changed. We people can’t touch each other and be together like we´re used to. With this project I want to experiment how we can touch each other and share warmth while still staying coronaproof.

Two people sit in front of each other. To each of the person’s front there is a lamp and a metal plate. When one person touches the metal plate, the light on the other side will light up. This symbolizes touch and warmth from one another through these difficult times. The table is decorated as a Dutch birthday party so the individuals can enjoy a get together.
